Tony is 65 years old and has always lived in Beirut. He is the eldest of a family of three children. He went to school until he was 10 years old and started working two years later to help his parents. He was first hired for a while in a tailor's shop, then he spent 40 years in a printing shop. He finally became an assistant in a commercial office. He no longer works today because of his age and the economic crisis. His two married sisters cannot help him. During the big explosion in the port in August 2020, his home was completely destroyed. He then moved into his parents' old apartment. We have been helping him with food since the fall of 2020.
