Marcelle is 70 years old and has lived alone for 10 years. In her youth, she had several jobs: employee in a bank, then in a travel agency and finally in an airline company (MEA). At the age of 23 she married an Armenian and they had 3 children. Her husband worked as an engineer in a Lebanese ministry and then in Saudi Arabia. He had a stroke that left him hemiplegic. During the last twenty years of her husband's life, Marcelle took care of him, as he could no longer work and his health gradually declined. Marcelle still speaks of him with great admiration. Her children continue to visit her, but can no longer support her much financially. One of them is suffering from cancer. We have been helping Marcelle with food since the fall of 2020.
