Maurice and Maha NAJEM are a young couple and the parents of Léa, 10 years old, and Lynn, 15 years old. Maha lost her job over a year and half ago because of the economic crisis, and Maurice is employed in a garage. Their daughters had to leave the private school they were attending to go to a public school, because it had become too expensive. Both are great students, and are fluent in french, which they love to practice with our French volunteers each time they come by. Part of their extended family lives in the same building, which makes it easier for the children to play together, and for the families to help out each other.
